For March 8, 2025, Radio Grenouille was in Izmir, Turkey.
With 11 participants, the 88.8 team produced a podcast series in just two days, focusing on women’s conditions.
You will hear their work in different languages, as each participant chose how to express themselves on a topic that connects us all.
This mobility was supported by the Erasmus+ programme and Le LABA, with Apaçık Radyo, in partnership with the French Institutes in Turkey, in Izmir and Istanbul.

rAIdio Translate: Heading to Izmir & Istanbul for Digital November !
rAIdio Translate is a project focused on audio translation practices and the contemporary uses of AI in sound creation.
> Full program: https://lnkd.in/eHgS2Fma
Over several days, we hosted workshops and public talks, including two public meetings bringing together audiences, students, radio professionals, and local media.
With Jeanne Robet (Arte Radio), Maxime Touroute (creative AI engineer), İlkşen Mavituna and her colleagues from Apaçık Radyo, as well as journalists from Radiokunst (German radio).
Together, we explored the following questions:
– Translating today: how, why, and with which tools?
– Practical uses of AI in radio, mediation, and sound creation
– Their ethical, political, and technical implications
These exchanges enabled the circulation of practices, methods, and perspectives between Turkey, Germany, and France—a strong example of international cooperation around digital and radio cultures.
This mobility was supported by the Erasmus+ programme and Le LABA, with Apaçık Radyo, Arte Radio, Goethe Institute, in partnership with the French Institutes in Turkey, in Izmir and Istanbul.

El Moutanakil à Marseille, invite
Designed by EL Moutanakil — an independent musical & cultural platform from Algeria — this show highlights Algerian artists from the electronic music scene, DJs and music producers, as well as artists from our international network spanning all five continents. The label broadcast every two months, each episode invites an artist to share an exclusive one-hour mix, conceived as an immersive journey into their musical universe. Through this series, we aim to create a space for listening and discovery, forging connections between our artistic communities and those of Radio Grenouille, while showcasing the diversity of today’s contemporary music scenes.

Cultural Mobility in Times of Crisis — with Birgit Ellinghaus & Anaïs Lukacs
A series of interviews and encounters dedicated to solidarity, critical reflection, and ecological models.
This episode brings together Birgit Ellinghaus and Anaïs Lukacs for an in-depth conversation on artistic mobility, solidarity, and the current challenges facing the music sector. Recorded during the Babel XP festival, this episode examines the administrative, human, and political obstacles encountered by artists working internationally, particularly those in situations of risk or exile.
